SALTAIRE History Club have a busy month ahead as they host a heritage talk and tours.
On September 9, 'Should Salt return in triumph to the City Centre?' will be presented over Zoom at 7pm after the club’s co-ordinating group felt that now was not the time to meet in person.
Dr David Pendleton will be briefing the group on the history surrounding Sir Titus Salt’s statue. Now located in Lister Park, it first stood in front of Bradford City Hall.
On the night, log on using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85803596658?pwd=WmRFa25OTlVzVFYraEVGTUpvYjdMZz09. Meeting ID: 858 0359 6658
Meanwhile, the Dining Hall in World Heritage Saltaire will be open for free tours on Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 September between 10am and 5pm. To book your tour, visit: https://saltairedininghall.eventbrite.co.uk/
