FOOTBALLER Aaron Wan-Bissaka has pleaded guilty to driving offences, four months after he was banned from driving after being stopped in Bradford last year.

Wan-Bissaka, 23, who plays in defence for Manchester United and lives in Stockport, had been due at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 18 but did not turn up.

He was found guilty of two offences in his absence of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver / rider of a vehicle when required in Bradford on October 10, 2020.

It was related to his Land Rover Range Rover Sport, when he was required to give details of the identity of the driver of the vehicle which was registered to him.

It was found proven in his absence and he was banned from driving for six months, with the disqualification “obligatory due to repeat offending”, and he was also given six points on his licence.

Wan-Bissaka was also fined £720 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £72, for a total of £882.

Today, appearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court, the footballer pleaded guilty to three offences relating to the driving of his Lamborghini Uris on June 23 this year, five days after he was banned from driving in Bradford.

He admitted driving while disqualified, driving without a licence, and driving without valid insurance.

District Judge Bernard Begley adjourned the case until a later date for sentencing at the end of brief hearing, where Wan-Bissaka was present in the dock.

The Manchester United right back, originally from Croydon in London, was granted unconditional bail.
