A MAN was stabbed and seriously injured after a disturbance at a bar in Huddersfield.

Officers were called to a disturbance at Revolution bar, in Cross Church Street, Huddersfield at just before 1am today today.

Officers attended and found a 34-year-old man had been stabbed and seriously injured. He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. He is now in stable condition and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 37-year-old man was found unconscious in nearby Oldgate by officers. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later released. He has been arrested on suspicion of affray in relation to the incident as has a 28-year-old man. Both remain in custody.

Detectives from Kirklees District CID are carrying out enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the stabbing at Revolution bar or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
