A WOMAN has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence in Bradford.
The woman, 37, was seen wandering down Canal Road away from Bradford city centre, near the Shell garage, on Thursday.
West Yorkshire Police received a concern for safety report relating to a female, who appeared to be holding a small handgun, at 4.59pm.
Armed officers swooped and arrested the woman on suspicion of a firearms offence.
Police recovered a gas powered BB gun and canisters.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman today confirmed the woman has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
