A VULNERABLE teenager was left "shaken" after being assaulted and robbed by suspects of a similar age last month.
The 13-year-old was on Catherine Slack, in Brighouse, on Monday, July 19 at around 6.15pm when the altercation began.
The victim, who was described by West Yorkshire Police as "vulnerable", was assaulted and had his personal possessions stolen.
The teenage victim was also with a 12-year-old at the time of the robbery.
It is believed the suspects are of a similar age.
A grey vehicle, with multiple passengers in, travelled along the road at the time of the robbery and stopped to assist.
The driver of the vehicle approached the suspects, allowing the victims to flee the scene.
It is believed the attack was unprovoked and the victim has been left "shaken" by the robbery.
West Yorkshire Police has today launched an appeal for information in relation to the robbery.
Officers are appealing directly to those in the grey vehicle to come forward and assist with enquiries.
