THE August Bank Holiday weekend is upon us and many people will be planning days out in the Bradford district and hoping for good weather.

Thankfully, Mother Nature seems to be looking down on Bradford, with a dry and fairly warm weekend in store for the district.

Many outdoor events are planned for the weekend – you can read a full run down of them here – and none look set to be rained off.

On Saturday, the Met Office is predicting a sunny day for the district, with maximum temperatures of 21 degrees Celsius, and only a light breeze.

After its rare appearance on Saturday the Sun will go back to hiding behind banks of cloud on Sunday, with temperatures reaching 18 degrees.

However, the wind looks set to pick up, with gusts of up to 20mph, meaning it’s likely to feel a bit cooler throughout the day.

Bank Holiday Monday is set to be more of the same, with highs of 18 degrees as the whole day is set to be cloudy, with the wind picking up even more with gusts of 22mph.

Looking forward into next week, it looks like the cloud is here to stay, turning a bit darker towards the back end of the week.
