LATEST NEWS: WATCH: Gun-toting woman taken down by police and arrested on suspicion of firearms offence
A WOMAN was seen being detained by armed police in Bradford yesterday evening, after she was reported to have been waving a pistol in the air
The incident took place near the Shell petrol station on Canal Road, at around 6pm.
Bystander footage shows armed officers directing the woman to lay on the ground, as a voice in the background can be heard saying "she's got a gun in her hand".
Four officers are then seen surrounding the woman as she is detained on the floor, while the footage shows that at least two police vehicles were in attendance.
Yesterday evening, one passer-by posted about the incident on social media: "pulling out of the petrol station on Canal Road to see a cop car bounce over the central reservation and some woman waving a 9mm pistol in the air."
