The lineup has been announced for a street festival taking in place in Bradford city centre this bank holiday weekend.

North Parade Street festival will host live music, open-air food and drink, market stalls, and family fun including fairground rides, stilt walkers, and a very special visit from Billy Bantam on Sunday 29 August .

Jonny Noble, Manager of the BID, the limited company funded by levy-payers to help promote and develop the city centre said: “We’ve had huge support from local businesses who can’t wait to welcome people back to this ever-popular festival

“We carried out a survey along North Parade and more than 75 percent of those who responded were fully behind getting the event back on the calendar this year.

The festival has been growing in popularity every year since it was launched and it was a huge shame that the businesses weren’t able to stage it last year, especially after 2019 when the weather let us down.

“Now we have a chance to get the momentum going again and bring people back to see just how much the ‘Top of Town’ area has to offer.”

North Parade will be closed to traffic from 6 am to 10 pm on Sunday, August 29, with the event taking place between 11 am and 7 pm.
