Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was left seriously injured after being attacked by a gang of men in a residential street earlier this week.
The incident happened on Monday at around 7pm in Killinghall Road, close to the junction with Johnson Street, in Barkerend.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was seriously injured in the attack and taken to hospital, after being assaulted by three males brandishing weapons.
Police have said it is an isolated incident and have appealed for anyone who may have seen the incident or who has footage of it to get in touch, while patrols in the area have been stepped up.
