AN opticians in Morley will be closed for some after a fire significantly damaged the premises.
AN overnight fire on Wednesday seriously damaged the Specsavers store in Windsor Court.
No-one was injured and fire investigation officers are at the scene determining what caused it.
The store has been significantly damaged and will remain closed for some time.
Store partner, ophthalmic director Chris Smith, said: ‘The safety of our colleagues and customers is always our priority so we are extremely grateful that no one was hurt in the blaze. We are, of course, devastated at the loss of our store, which has served the community of Morley for nearly 20 years.’ In the meantime, customers with queries should call the Specsavers at Sainsbury’s, White Rose, on 0113 277 1705. Customers with appointments will be contacted direct to reschedule.
