PEOPLE will be able to explore the Dales more easily this weekend, as the full DalesBus Sunday service will be running throughout the bank holiday weekend.

DalesBus services provide many opportunities for linear walks, and for people to enjoy the countryside without the stresses of driving.

The bus network will be running on Bank Holiday Monday August 30,  as well as on Sunday as usual.

DalesBus 884 runs from Bradford Interchange at 0925 via Shipley (0940) to Ilkley, Skipton and Malham, with onward connections on Malham DalesBus 881 up the hill to Malham Tarn and over the moor to Settle.

Connections are available at Ilkley with DalesBus 875 to Grassington, Kettlewell, Aysgarth and Hawes.

There’s also DalesBus 821 from Keighley Bus Station at 0930 via Shipley (0955) to Otley, the Washburn Valley, Pateley Bridge and Scar House Reservoir in Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

On Saturday, DalesBus 74 will be running from Bradford to Bolton Bridge, Embsay, Burnsall and Grassington as usual too, leaving Bradford Interchange at 9.25am and Shipley Market Place at 9.40am.

Further details are available in the DalesBus timetable booklet available from Bradford Interchange and other outlets, and online at www.dalesbus.org.
