The world-famous Flying Scotsman steam locomotive steamed through West Yorkshire today.
Large crowds gathered on platforms and bridges as the iconic green Class A3 engine passed through Dewsbury, Mirfield and Huddersfield.
Many had gathered on the station bridge at Marsden to catch a glimpse of the legendary machine, while a pensioner could be seen scrambling up a tree to get a better view near Marsden Tunnel End.
The loco, pulling one support carriage, was en route from York Railway Museum towards Manchester.
Children waved and cheered as it came into view, and the driver gave a friendly whistle in response.
