A BRADFORD man has been jailed for stealing a handbag from inside the staff room of a city petrol station.
Ronnie Brockhill, 39, of Boldshay Street, was committed to prison for 26 weeks and ordered to pay an £128 victim surcharge for having entered as a trespasser, into the staff room of a petrol station on Barkerend Road, Bradford, stole a handbag.
The incident took place on May 19, 2021.
Brockhill was jailed because the offence was so serious and was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending.
He pleaded guilty to the burglary other than dwelling – theft charge when he appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 4, 2021.
