Pictured above, in 1960, is Heaton's St Barnabas School football team. This fantastic photo has been submitted to us by Les Gudgeon. Also pictured alongside Les, is the actor Simon Rouse. Mr Gudgeon wrote that after 60 years, many of the players from the Heaton school have remained good friends.
