MEMBERS of the public are being asked for their opinion on plans to install speed humps on two Bradford streets.
Bradford Council’s Highways Department has revealed plans for a number of traffic calming measures on Dirkhill Road and All Saints Road.
The plans include two speed plateaus on All Saints Road - one of which will also be a zebra crossing, and numerous “blacktop cushions” along the length of Dirkhill Road.
A public consultation on the plans began on Friday.
Work to improve junctions at Great Horton Road to begin in Autumn
It is part of traffic safety works in the that area that have also seen streets become 20mph zones and traffic calming planned for Great Horton Road.
People have until September 20 to comment on the plans, which can be viewed by visiting bradford.moderngov.co.uk/mgConsultationListDisplay.aspx
