ANOTHER building in the University of Bradford complex is due to get new cladding as part of its push to become an "ecoversity."
A number of building in the city centre campus have been given new cladding in recent years, as the University looks to reduce its energy consumption.
Now an application to clad one of the most prominent buildings, the Great Hall, has been submitted to Bradford Council.
Referring to the wider cladding work the application says: "This is important to the University’s aspirations as an ‘ecoversity’ and to reduction of carbon footprint.

"The overcladding of the Great Hall is the completion of this process for the Richmond Building whose original fabric, in common with most buildings of its time, contained virtually no insulation.
"The treatment of the building is intended to provide a polite counterpoint to some of the more flamboyant treatments of adjoining buildings."
A decision on the application is expected in October.
