A FIRE in a first floor flat required three crews to attend yesterday evening.
It was the kitchen of a property on Chickenley Lane, Dewsbury which caught fire.
Appliances from Dewsbury, Ossett and Wakefield attended the scene.
Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation were used.
One male casualty self rescued prior to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service's arrival.
First aid was given to the man by the Fire Service whilst awaiting arrival of an ambulance.
