TEN Keighley neighbours are kicking off the weekend in style after netting a share of £330,000 all thanks to their postcode.

The cash windfall comes after their postcode, BD21 1SW, was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today. Nine of the winners took home £30,000 each, with the 10th scooping £60,000 thanks to playing with two tickets.

The winners chose to remain anonymous, or were unavailable to collect their prize cheques, and their winnings will be transferred to their bank accounts.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his congratulations to the winners and said: "I couldn’t be more pleased for our Keighley winners today, what a great surprise for them all to share. I’m sure the whole community will be buzzing with excitement and I hope our winners enjoy spending the cash."

Everyday throughout the August draws one postcode will be announced as a £30,000 prize winner. All the players in the postcode will win £30,000 for every ticket they hold.

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

A minimum of 33 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise over £750 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Planet Trust. Through regular grant funding, the trust supports charities and good causes working to protect and promote our environment and wildlife. Funded charities include African Parks, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and WWF-UK.
