Former Terrorvision rock star Mark Yates has found a new way to get his creative juices flowing and is displaying his own art work.
After 20 years spent touring the world with the Bradford-based Brit Rock band, he has turned his creativity from audio to visual.
Using reclaimed paints, he produces original artwork on to canvas and wood in the basement of his Bradford home converted into a studio.
His compositions also include prints of his own work on to canvas and perspex.
Mark, pictured, originally trained as a graphic designer after leaving school before he was captured by the glamorous world of rock and roll.
He said: "I find painting, like music, has no boundaries and is another way of communicating and it's a great way of expressing myself creatively.
"Music and art are so very close in hand and I think there are certainly some similarities and parallels between my guitar playing and art in that they are both pretty loud and flamboyant."
Mark's work is at The Saatchi Gallery online, at the Heart Gallery in Market Street, Hebden Bridge, and at Masserella Fine Art in Saltaire.
