TWO men have appeared before magistrates and been remanded in custody in relation to a disorder incident in Huddersfield.
Ackeem Campbell, 26, of Warrenfield Court, and Gavin Dennis, 39, of Keldergate, both appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with possession of firearms with intent to cause fear of violence, affray, possession of ammunition and threatening a person with a bladed article
The men were arrested and charged following a disorder incident in the Halifax Old Road and Wasps Nest Road area of Huddersfield on Tuesday, August 10.
Police received calls from around 6.15pm from residents reporting a group of males fighting, with suspects seen to flee the scene in a Vauxhall Astra.
Officers attended and found a man who had suffered minor injuries.
Both males were remanded in custody by magistrates to appear before Leeds Crown Court on September 9.
Enquiries into the disorder remain ongoing by Kirklees CID.
