A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a crash between two cars, one of which was parked, in Heckmondwike.
The road traffic collision occurred earlier this afternoon at around 3.08pm on Walkley Lane.
The driver suffered injuries to her arm and face. These are not deemed to be life threatening.
Walkley Lane is still partially blocked with the incident happening near the Shell Petrol Station.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services were called to Walkley Lane, Heckmondwike, at around 3.08pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars.
"One of the cars was parked at the time.
"The driver has been taken to hospital having suffered injuries to her arm and face, though they are not considered life threatening.
"Officers remain on the scene while recovery takes place."
