Calderdale Council's benefits service has received top marks again following an assessment by the Benefits Fraud Inspect-orate.
The service was graded as excellent in the 2007 assessment and given the top Audit Commission score of four.
The report confirms that the Council achieved an excellent rating against 11 out of 13 performance measures and met 60 out of 61 enablers.
Performance standards for the assessment cover four themes: claims administration, security, user focus and resource management.
