Pictured above, September 1984, is the Campion under-18 football team. Based at the St Edmund Campion Youth Club, Rhodesway, Allerton, players included, A Gorman, P Hainsworth, I Lister, R Croudson, A Harriman, D Harrison, S O’Brien. Front: A Quirk, J Thompson, N Brotherton (captain), G Gellard and J Wilson. Others in the squad were A Todd, M Coates, P Mitchell and Dalton.
