POLICE have seized a samurai sword from men wanted for violent offences in Bradford.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling serious and violent crime - were out in the city yesterday.
They were conducting arrest enquiries at addresses for wanted males linked to violent offences.
Police discovered a samurai sword, with a red handle and sheath, while doing this.
The sword was seized and enquiries are still ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Jemlock team said: "Officers in the Bradford area conducting arrest enquiries at addresses for wanted males linked to violent offences.
"Thankfully they no longer have access to this."
