A DRIVER and passenger of a vehicle received a rude awakening from police as one was arrested and the other was reported to court.
The driver saw his Audi A3 seized after he had no licence or insurance. Meanwhile, the other person in the car was arrested for being here illegally.
Operation Steerside dealt with the incident in Elland.

In a separate incident, officers made another arrest after stopping a vehicle which was linked to a suspect who was wanted for robbery.
The vehicle was stopped without incident yesterday.
The wanted person was in the vehicle and was arrested at the roadside on suspicion of robbery.
