A ROAD was closed this afternoon as firefighters tackled a building blaze a a Chinese takeaway.
Fire crews from Cookridge, Stanningley, Shipley and Moortown were called to the premises, on Henshaw Lane in Yeadon at 3.35pm.
Six breathing apparatus sets were used, along with three hose reels and positive pressure ventilation fans,
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said it had been a small fire in the cooking area, which was quickly put out.
