A MAN aged 23 has been jailed for six weeks for shoplifting.
Lewis Heckles, whose address was given as HMP Leeds, pleaded guilty to five offences of theft at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
He admitted stealing £45 worth of cheese from Farmfoods in Cooke Lane, Keighley, on April 8 and stealing £32 worth of chocolate from Poundland in the town’s Airedale Shopping Centre, on April 9.
Heckles then targeted Poundland three more times, stealing £160 of chocolate on April 10; Airwick refills worth £80 two days’ later and three jars of coffee valued at £23 on April 19.
