POLICE seized six weapons and arrested five people during an operation last night.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling serious violence and knife crime - were out targeting hot spot areas on Wednesday evening.
The team seized six weapons in total, including the four pictured machetes.
Officers also chased after a stolen vehicle and managed to recover it after the pursuit.
In total, the team made five separate arrests across the night.
A spokesperson for Operation Jemlock said: "This highlights the positive impact we are aiming for in reducing and preventing crime."
