A MAN caught with a "large quantity" of spice just a matter of weeks after leaving jail has been recalled to prison.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) stopped a male in Great Horton on July 15, after he ran off when he spotted them.
Police had grounds to search the man and discovered a "large quantity" of the synthetic drug spice, which is also known as the Zombie drug.
Other items consistent with drug dealing were also found.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Police found he had only been out of prison a matter of weeks, after serving a sentence for drugs-related offending.
The man has now been recalled to prison and is in jail for his original sentence.
A spokesperson for Bradford South NPT said: "The investigative work for this one is still ongoing and will hopefully be going to CPS soon."
