POLICE have seized a van after it was stopped last night due to being linked to a man that was wanted by officers.
West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit pulled over the white Ford Transit van - which had been fitted with some terrible looking modifications including a front bumper and garish blue wing mirrors and grill - on the M62 near Junction 26 for Chain Bar at around 7.30pm yesterday.
Officers said they stopped the van as they had received recent intelligence that it was linked to a wanted man.
However when they stopped the van the man was nowhere to be seen, but the driver behind the wheel was disqualified from driving.
The driver was reported to court and the van was seized.
People who drive while disqualified can receive a further disqualification, a fine, penalty points and even a short prison sentence for the offence.
