MORRISONS has teamed up with a teaching group to offer free maths activity packs in its stores.

The Bradford-based supermarket chain has teamed up with White Rose Maths on the project.

It will see Morrisons provide more than 250,000 free maths activity packs for children across the country from Monday, July 26. The workbooks, for school year one to six pupils, will be in the ‘Children’s Little Library’ in their local Morrisons.

Shoppers have been urged to pick up an activity pack in a Morrisons store, or speak to one of the supermarket’s community champions.

Morrisons will also be passing some of the packs on to schools and community groups as part of the ongoing education project..

White Rose Maths is a small group of teachers and mathematicians who look to develop maths education for all children.
