TWO family fun days will be held in Wrose later this summer.

The days will take place on Tuesday, July 27 at Claremont Park and Tuesday, August 3 at Wrose Recreation Ground. Both days will last from 11am to 3pm.

Wrose Parish Council are funding the days, which will be delivered by Bradford Council’s Play Team and supported by the Council’s Youth Services.

Activities will include inflatables for younger and older children, archery, soft ball tennis, giant snakes and ladders and mini golf and football.

Parish Councillor, Alex Ross-Shaw, who chairs Wrose Parish Council, said, "We're delighted to be able to fund two brilliant family fun days for Wrose after all the difficulties we've endured during the pandemic.

"They will be great days out for the family and we can't wait to see everyone safely enjoying themselves outdoors this summer."

Commercial Play Officer at Bradford Council, Lee Clapham, said, "Our play days have proved hugely popular with families wherever we've held them across the district so we're delighted to be able to bring them to Wrose this summer.

"There's a whole range of activities of children of all ages so there's something for everyone."
