FOUR Wetherspoon pubs in the Bradford district are now serving guest ales from local breweries, at £1.99 a pint.
The initiative, which began yesterday, will run throughout the summer at the following venues:
- The Myrtle Grove, Main Street, Bingley
- The Turls Green, Centenary Square, Bradford
- The Obediah Brooke, Bradford Road, Cleckheaton
- The Sir Norman Rae, Market Square, Shipley
The pubs will be supporting a range of brewers in the area and customers will also be able to sample a beer before ordering it.
They will be able to order their beer on the app or at the bar.
Ang Slater, Manager at The Myrtle Grove, said: “We are proud of our reputation for supporting local breweries and serving their beer in our pub.
“Our customers will be able to enjoy some great beers at The Myrtle Grove, while supporting local brewers too – and all at a fantastic price.”
The pub will also be serving its regular range of real ales, including Abbot, Ruddles and Doom Bar at their normal prices.
Wetherspoon will be sourcing beers from more than 350 local breweries across the UK, with individual pubs selecting the local breweries whose beers they wish to showcase.
