A man wanted by police after failing to appear at court for trial has been arrested.
Jordan McManus, 23, of Caunce Street, Blackpool was convicted in his absence at Preston Crown Court in May for offences of Section 18 wounding and possession of a bladed article in a public place after he attacked a 17-year-old boy in Foxdale Avenue on April 22, 2020.
McManus was due at court in April but failed to appear with a warrant issued for his arrest.
Police issued an appeal to find McManus in April, with a further appeal launched in June, as despite ongoing attempts to find him, he remained wanted.
However, on Thursday, McManus was arrested by police in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Thanks to everyone who shared our appeals to find him."
