THE exit slip road on the M62 westbound is closed this morning after a vehicle fire.
The incident has caused delays at J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) and the slip road will remain closed for the time being, according to Highways England.
Unconfirmed reports on social media are suggesting that it is a cherry picker which has caught fire.
Highways England said, just after 9am this morning, that "A large amount [of] hydraulic oil was spilled on the road and over the slip road. This will remain closed until cleaning has taken place".
West Yorkshire Police has been approached for a comment.
