THE owner of a beauty salon in Wyke is celebrating after winning an award.
Bloom Beauty Bar and Academy, on Lower Drake Fold in Wyke, has received an award as the Best Luxury Beauty Treatment Salon - West Yorkshire at the Corporate Visions Education and Training Awards 2021.
"It's amazing," said owner Emma Royston. "I only opened the salon just over two years ago.
The salon, which opened in November 2019, does beauty treatments such as eyelashes, eyebrows and make up.
They also have nail technicians and a hairdresser.
Emma said "business is on the up" since Covid restrictions have relaxed.
"It's crazy since we've come back to work," she added.
