A 24-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a road traffic collision on Westgate, Wakefield in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Three people were seriously injured in the incident, which happened at 1.24am outside the Black Horse pub.

Two men remain in a serious condition, and one woman remains in a critical condition.

Karolina Serafin, 24, of Tenby Grove, Worksop was due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court this morning.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 101, quoting log 147 of Sunday 11 July.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to witnesses who helped to remove the driver out of the vehicle, and a taxi driver who is believed to have been at the scene of the collision and may have witnessed what happened.
