HERE is this week's area by area breakdown of how many people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the Bradford district.

The figures show what percentage of the population in each area have had two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and are fully protected against the virus.

Dated up to July 12, the figures reveal that across the district 71.1 per cent of people have now been vaccinated with at least one dose, while 54.3 per cent are double jabbed.

All adults are eligible to get the vaccine and are being urged to come forward and get the jab to protect them against the virus.

The figures below are broken down by Middle Super Output Area, a way of breaking down figures to a local level, covering areas of around 7,200 people.

Each area's demographic is different, which goes some way to explaining the difference in rates. For example some of the more rural areas have an older average age, meaning more people have been eligible for both doses for longer, while in the inner city the average age is much younger so may not have been able to get their second dose yet.

But this is not the only explanation, with a lot of work still to do in some areas to get people to have the vaccine as soon as possible.

Here are the area by area double vaccination figures for the Bradford district dated to July 12:
