A KEIGHLEY businessman is giving all his staff the Monday morning off no matter if England win or lose their Euro 2020 final today.

Elliot Lumb, who runs Poundtoy.com, an online toy company, is a staunch England fan himself and is going down to Wembley with his family for the big game.

There is set to be plenty of sore heads the morning after the night before so Elliot have said employees can take it off.

Evidence that the PoundToy warehouse is getting into the spirit appeared on Friday morning as a man cherished by all, at the minute, arrived.

Elliot said: "I have decided to give my staff the Monday morning off work win or lose. Someone has even just delivered a big cut out of Gareth Southgate."

The business owner also went down to London to see the boys outmuscle Denmark in the semi-finals.

It was an event he will never forget and is confident the Three Lions can go one better later this evening.

Elliot added: "I took my wife (Nichol), dad (Peter) and son (Owen), so it was a good family day out.

"My son has just gone 18 so it was the first time he has experienced anything like that, he was absolutely buzzing. The atmosphere was absolutely unbelievable.

"I have never seen England play so much as a team. It is such a breath of fresh air.

“I am so excited for the final; I am like a little kid,”

“I bought the final tickets as soon as we beat Germany. It would have been an expensive day out if Denmark had beat us!

"It will be a tough game, but I will go 2-1 England in 90 minutes.”
