POLICE investigating a report of an attempted sexual assault in Huddersfield have issued an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak with.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.45pm on Sunday, 20 June in between Ball Royd Road and Bradford Road, when a man is said to have approached a 13-year-old girl.

The victim did not sustain any injuries and is being supported by specially-trained officers.

The suspect, believed to be in his 30s, is described as a white male, around 5ft 8ins tall. 

He was thought to be wearing baggy grey jogging bottoms and a black hoodie.

Initial enquires suggest the suspect was present in the park, known locally as the Pavillion, for some time prior to the incident.

Officers believe there may be further witnesses who were in the location at the time who may not have been spoken to.
