AN application to increase the hours of alcohol sales from 6am until 2am at a Ravenscliffe convenience store has been submitted to Bradford Council.

Syed Liaqat Ali Shah has applied to vary the premises licence at One Stop Convenience Store on Ravenscliffe Avenue.

Any representations about the application should be sent in writing to Bradford Council Licensing Team, 3rd Floor Argus Chambers, Hall Ings,Bradford, BD1 1HX before July 27.

The Licensing Register may be inspected at the above address between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am and 4.30pm on Fridays. The licensing register is available online at bradfordlicensing.org.uk

Other public notices announced by Bradford Council this week are:

* Variation of premises licence at Danchinos, Lodge Street, Cullingworth.

Danny Colecchia has applied for a licence for the sale of alcohol and low volume live entertainment at the premises from Monday to Sunday, 10pm-11pm. Representations should be made in writing to the Licensing Team, Argus Chambers, Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX by July 22. Licensing Register inspection may be carried out at the above address between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Fridays.

* Temporary closure of Parry Lane, Laisterdyke, for communications works to be carried out.

The order will affect the length of Parry Lane from its junction with Sticker Lane for approximately 20 metres in a south westerly direction. Alternative traffic routes will be via Parry Lane (unaffected section), Bowling Back Lane, Sticker Lane and vice versa. The order comes into operation at 8am on July 14 until 5pm on July 16.

* Temporary closure of Parklands and Southway in Ben Rhydding for gas works to be carried out.

The order will affect Southway from its junction with Boiling Road to a point at the side of 74 Boiling Road and Parklands from its junction with Boiling Road to a point outside No. 51 Parklands.

Alternative routes for traffic will be on Southway via Southway (unaffected section), Boiling Road and vice versa, and Parklands via Parklands (unaffected section), Boiling Road and vice versa. The order remains in force until 6pm hours on August 3.

* Temporary closure of Back Birch Lane, West Bowling, for gas works to be carried out.

The order will affect the length of Back Birch Lane from its junction with Birch Lane (at the side of No. 154 Back Birch Lane) to a point at the rear of No. 196 Back Birch Lane.Alternative routes for traffic will be available via Birch Lane, Woodroyd Terrace and vice versa. Remains in force until 6pm on August 13.

* Temporary closure of Staithgate Lane, Bradford, for electrical works to be carried out. The order will affect the junction of Staithgate Lane with Staithgate Roundabout (Rooley Lane) to Dean Beck Avenue. Alternative traffic routes will be via Staithgate Lane (unaffected section), Rooley Lane, Bierley Lane, Rockhill Lane, Wharfedale Road, Merrydale Road and vice versa. The order is from 8am on July 19 to 6pm on July 30.
