A NUMBER of people have recently been hit with fines at Bradford Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules.

The cases have only come to court on June 24, 2021, but date back to December last year.

  • Safaa Malik, 18, of Newhall Park Drive, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/in tier 3 area, on December 12, 2020.
  • Stephen Liddle, 67, of Wharf Street, Shipley, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, in Wharf Street, Shipley, on January 15, 2020.
  • Lenka Keselova, 37, of Halton Place, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 3 area, in Halton Place, Bradford, on December 5, 2020.
  • Aseer Shah, 24, of Queens Road, Manningham, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 10, 2021.
  • Jozsefne Szatmari, 39, of Napier Road, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 3 area, on December 24, 2020.
  • Yousaf Haroon, 49, of Church Green, Bradford, was fined £440, ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, on January 10, 2021.
  • Patricia Malik, 51, of Newhall Gardens, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 3 area, on December 12, 2020.
  • Waliyah Malik, 22, of Newhall Gardens, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 3 area, on December 12, 2020.
  • Haider Shabir, 27, of Ashwell Road, Manningham, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on January 10, 2021.
  • Danial Sher Khan, 26, of Market Place, Bedale, North Yorkshire, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in White Terrace, Bradford, on January 10, 2021.
  • Usman Mohammed, 23, of Killinghall Road, Bradford, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Wakefield, on January 13, 2021.
  • Sameer Naeem, 25, of Sutherland Street, Leicester, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, in Leicester, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Bradford, on January 10, 2021.
  • Amar Joshi, 27, of Herschell Street, Leicester, was fined £120, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, in Leicester, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Bradford, on January 10, 2021.
  • Harjeet Singh, 24, of Pennythorne Drive, Yeadon, Leeds, was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, in Bradford, on January 15, 2021.
  • Lee Thompson, 30, of Haxton Boulevard, Steeton With Eastburn, Bradford, was fined £770, ordered to pay a £77 victim surcharge and £85 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 3 area, on December 19, 2020.
