POLICE have reported that injuries to a male pedestrian who was knocked down on Shipley Airedale Road in Bradford yesterday are "not believed to be life-threatening".
The road was closed and there were traffic delays after emergency services were scrambled to the scene just at 3.22pm on Thursday.
The police and ambulance service said the accident involved a car colliding with a pedestrian.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service reported two people were injured, one of which was more serious.
The person with the serious injury was taken to Leeds General Infirmary. However, police said the injuries were "not believed to be life threatening".
The ambulance service said the other person was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
There were delays to traffic around the area and a road closure was in place until police cleared the scene and re-opened the road at 6.18pm.
