A MAN has been jailed for stealing washing pods from a Bradford supermarket.
Stephen Titchener, 41, of no fixed abode, was jailed for a total of six weeks for stealing washing pods worth £45.50 from Tesco Express store in Bradford on November 22, 2020.
He was jailed because the offence was so serious because it was aggravated by his record of previous offending.
Titchener was also committed to prison for six weeks, to run concurrently, for stealing washing pods worth £155 from Tesco Express Bradford on November 24, 2020.
He was also committed to prison for six weeks for stealing washing pods, worth £128.50, from Tesco Express Bradford, on November 22, 2020.
Titchener, who pleaded guilty to all charges, was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
He was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 9.
