A MAJOR road in Bradford city centre was shut this morning following a concern for safety for a man.
Hall Ings was shut in both directions due to a police incident, First Bus West Yorkshire tweeted at just before 7.35am today. The road reopened at around 9am.
First used Bradford Interchange in both directions to the next available point while the incident took place.
First added it was unable to use Nelson Street due to the incident.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Police were called following reports of a concern for safety for a man on Hall Ings, Bradford.
"Road closures were in place whilst officers deal with the incident.
"The man now safe, and roads will reopen shortly."
