SIR - How can Bradford Council contemplate of building a sports centre at the top of Squire Lane. Do they not think it is busy enough with the school and the Royal Infirmary? It's a nightmare at the best of times with cars parked all over, the ambulances must have a terrible time getting through at peak periods.
The land would be better used as a car park for the hospital and maybe some other hospital units, the ridiculous amount of money spent on the play area in Manningham Park some £650,000 (unbelievable) could have gone a long way towards this.
Time to get your priorities right - help the NHS.
