A POLICE scene was in place in Bradford city centre last night after police found a woman injured in the street.

The cordon, in Centenary Square, was in place in the area where benches are located in the middle of the grassed areas, next to the Covid-19 testing centre.

Uniformed officers were stood on guard last night at the scene.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Centenary Square, Bradford at 9.25pm to reports of a woman having been injured.

"Officers attended and found a woman with injuries not thought to be life threatening. The incident is not thought to be suspicious."
