THE Top 10 Instagrammed walks across Yorkshire to provide inspiration for those taking a staycation or looking to explore local areas have been revealed and feature the Bradford district.

The research, conducted by Shoe Zone, looked at popular walks across God’s Own Country, cross referenced with Instagram data, to see which walks give the most Instagrammable opportunities.

These are the top 10 most Instagrammed walks in Yorkshire:

1) Whitby to Robin Hood’s Bay (1.2M posts)

Taking in the views of Yorkshire’s coast, this stunning walk boasts a mix of history, architecture, and old age stories of Count Dracula.

2) Ripon Canal (160k posts)

A wheelchair and pram friendly walk along Ripon canal, this route starts in the heart of the busy medieval city, Ripon, and follows the canal down to find stunning countryside views - a tranquil spot away from the hustle and bustle.

3) Skipton to Saltaire, Canal Walk (144k posts)

Following the Leeds & Liverpool canal, this 16-mile walk begins in Skipton and passes through the Yorkshire Dales to finish in Saltaire, a 19th century village jam packed with history.

4) Malham Cove and Gordale Scar (116k posts)
