A leading specialist in external cladding installation has completed the first phase of an investment programme to relocate and refresh its communications strategy.

Hamilton, which has a team of more than 120 installers for approved external wall insulation and cladding systems, has completed the fit out of its new headquarters in Baildon, home to its Head Office Team and nationwide contract staff.

Led by founder and Managing Director Robert Storton, the company is also investing in a revitalised communications strategy with a new corporate identity and website.

Hamilton works with private and local authority clients who own or manage tower blocks, and their consultants. Providing support, investigations and costings where cladding and insulated render systems are found to be combustible or are failing and need to be brought up to current Building Regulations standards.

In the March 2020 budget, the government announced the Building Safety Fund (BSF) to support the remediation of unsafe non-ACM cladding systems on residential buildings 18 metres and over in both the private and social housing sectors.

Hamilton works in partnership with specialist consultants to guide customers through the BSF process, from the initial registration phase through to applications and completion of works.

Robert, who grew up in West Yorkshire and co-founded the business in 1996 at the age of 23, said: “The BSF is a scheme that will allow organisations to ensure their high-rise buildings are safe, not just now, but in the future and we have been involved in some really interesting work across the UK.

“There have been lots of changes in the industry since we first went into business, but our ethos remains the same.

“We build strong relationships with trusted suppliers that offer the best products and look after our staff, who are all experts in their fields.

“With this solid foundation we have worked with clients all over the country on a vast range of construction projects and Government funded schemes.

“Our new offices and rebrand are a natural progression of our growth and next on our ‘to do’ list is to revamp our website to showcase our teams and the excellent work they do.”

Director Daniel Mackie, has been with the company a decade and is looking forward to exciting times ahead. He said: “Hamilton is perfectly positioned to deliver high calibre projects across the UK and our vast experience in external façade work makes us a natural choice for companies looking to take advantage of the BSF.

“We have a long list of accreditations and our insurance cover is the highest in the industry, which is a must have for public and private clients looking to employ a company for remediation works.

“We’re really excited about the future as we push ahead with ambitious growth plans.”

Hamilton’s new HQ has been built around a pod system of separate offices with a stylish atrium lined with artificial grass and break-out areas for meetings.

The company’s new corporate identity includes a fresher, brighter and striking look which is being rolled out across all its signage, PPE, van livery and stationery.
