A MAN was injured and two were arrested for affray following an incident involving a knife on a bus in Mirfield.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 9.30pm yesterday, police received a concern for safety report relating to a man who had been seen with a knife in Stocks Bank Road, Mirfield.
"A further report was then received to say there had been an altercation on a bus, which was reported to have involved a man.
"Officers attended and arrested two men, aged 45 and 51, on suspicion of affray. One of the men was treated for injuries to his hands and face.
"A scene remained in place this morning in Stocks Bank Road, while enquiries continue to establish the circumstances of this incident.
"Anyone with information that may assist with enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 1921 of 16th June."
